Celebrate the Special WOMEN in Your Life and Help New Mothers at the Same Time

Dear Members and Friends of Christ Child Society of Naples,

May 14 is Mother’s Day. It is a day set aside each year to celebrate and honor mothers. It is a time when we each remember and pray for those special women in our lives – our mothers, our daughters, our special friends and others – who have been important to us.

This Mother’s Day, we suggest you consider honoring the special mothers in your life with a gift to the Christ Child Society’s Layette Program. Since the Chapter’s founding 25 years ago, we have created and distributed more than 15,000 layettes to new mothers in need.

A beautiful handmade blanket knitted by members and a number of volunteer groups is included in each layette. In addition, the layette contains clothing, diapers, books, receiving blankets and other essentials purchased by Christ Child Society. Your gift of $100 to the Layette Program will offset the cost of one layette.

For each donation of a layette, you will receive a Mother’s Day Card (see sample on this page) which will tell the mother you are honoring about your gift in her name. To order, make a secure donation form below. If you have any questions, please email Sally Gleason or call 239.537.3501. Thank you in advance for your gift which will honor not only the mothers in your life, but also the mother who receives the layette.
