Christ Child Society of Naples Awards Grants Annually

Christ Child Society of Naples is pleased to provide meaningful grants to organizations who provide services for the underserved children in Collier County. These grants represent a board initiative that aims to provide an efficient means of getting grant dollars into the hands of our trusted partners for enhanced programming or special projects. No grant dollars are used for administrative purposes or for projects that do not fulfill our mission and goals.

Our team of volunteers identifies opportunities for grants through their work with agencies that provide direct services to underserved children. In turn, these requests go to our board of directors, who decide collectively which local organizations will be encouraged to apply for a grant. Grant decisions are made in early Spring for the upcoming July 1 budget cycle. Awardees are notified of the final board decision in early Summer, and checks are delivered just after Labor Day each year.

The board is open to receiving grant requests throughout the year or when special circumstances arise. These interim grants also require due diligence and a board vote before approval.

A special thank you to our grant delivery volunteers and to those CCSN volunteers who go onsite to our grantees each year to be sure the grant dollars we sent were used to meet the objective they stated in their request.

Our grant dollars have funded beds and cribs for children in Providence House, thousands of books through Books for Collier Kids, enhanced curriculum supplies for preschool and elementary school programs, among other great programs.

If you know of a special project that directly impacts underserved children in Collier County in a positive way, please send that information to us at info@christchildnaples.org.
